Our Story
Last Yarn is the new social marketplace connecting designers and creatives to surplus fabrics from fashion mills, manufacturers and studios across the country.
Our goal is to reduce the impact of textile waste by re-designing the relationship between design, production and technology and supporting a community of new generation creatives inspiring each other by sharing textiles and curations.

What is the impact of producing new textiles?
Fashion is one of the most polluting industries globally, with
- 70% of the fashion industry’s greenhouse gas emissions stem from material production.
- Around 20% of wastewater worldwide comes from fabric dyeing and treatment.
- Of the total fibre input used for clothing, 87% is incinerated or disposed of in a landfill.

By democratizing access to unused fabrics, we reduce the need for production creating a new ecosystem for textiles. Supporting the ever growing roster of brands, designers and creatives wanting to make a positive impact on people and the planet.

Join our social marketplace and collaborate with the UK fashion industry to circulate existing fabrics.
