#FashionRevolutionWeek (the world’s largest fashion activism movement) starts this Sunday.

Whether you dedicate ten minutes on your route home from work or five days of intense activism, reflecting on how our fashion choices and the wider fashion industry has an effect on social and environmental change is the first step to real change.

The theme for the 2024 campaign is centred around ‘How to be a Fashion Revolutionary.’

So here goes Last Yarn’s three fashion revolutionary acts:

1. Education: Every morning, make it your goal to read one article related to fashion and the environment. @sourcingjournal is a fab way to get no-nonsense information, or for more fashion-related facts, check out @voguebusiness Business.

2. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle: Try to consciously consume as much as possible by restraining from buying unnecessary items and only buying second-hand when required.

3. Get Involved: Participating in environmental events such as @_colechi #YKWU is a great way to express your views, meet friends and learn from others.

How are you a fashion revolutionary? Leave a comment below. 👇

We had the pleasure of visiting Charles Gray London today to help set them up as vendors on the website. LOVED their supply of furs, tweeds and fake leathers.
NOW available for sale is an amazing orange faux fur (super soft) as well as a beautiful forest green or yellow tweed (made in Italy)! Check out their selection on our website. Link in bio. OR if you’re a designer and would like help becoming a vendor, please get in touch @hello@lastyarn.com #LastYarn #CharlesGrayLondon #FashionForward

Were you aware that each time we repurpose materials, we’re not only avoiding their wastage but also preserving precious new raw materials from being extracted from our Earth?

By reducing the demand for new resources, you’re reducing the amount of ore mined, and creating fewer carbon emissions from the extraction process.

Last Yarn is passionate about the importance of reselling. Everytime you purchase second hand, you’re helping save the planet one small step at a time.

Link to our online shop for deadstock fabric is in the bio.
